Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Unstill — the studio, share pages, and developer API (together, the "Service"), operated from India. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Unstill generates narrated, explorable explainer animations as .unstill files using AI models. Output is machine-generated: it can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review generated content before relying on it or publishing it — especially for educational or professional use.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials (and API keys) secret. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
• One free account per person. We may suspend accounts that abuse the free tier, rate limits, or the Service.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live).

3. Prices & payments

• Your first video is free. Each additional video is $10. Creating a video includes revisions and free online use — see the pricing page.
• Downloading is free on every video: a 720p MP4 carrying the Unstill mark, under a full commercial licence. $100 unlocks that video’s clean full-resolution master, with no mark. Unlocking is permanent and per video.
• All prices are in USD. Payments are processed by Razorpay — cards, UPI, net banking and wallets, including international cards; we never see or store your card details. Invoices are available on request.
• Unlocking is permanent and per video: you may re-download the included formats at any time, at no further cost. Purchases are non-transferable and, except where required by law, non-refundable once the file has been delivered.
• We may change prices with notice. A change never applies retroactively to a video you have already paid for or unlocked.

3a. Fair use of iteration

Iteration is included rather than metered: you may keep refining a video until it is right. So that a single video cannot be used as an unlimited generator, each video may be revised for up to 30 days from its creation or 50 revisions, whichever runs out first. These limits exist only to stop abuse — if you reach one through ordinary use, write to us and we will lift it. Unlocked videos can be re-downloaded forever regardless of these limits.

4. Your content & generated output

• You keep ownership of the prompts, briefs, and reference images you upload — upload only material you have the right to use.
• Subject to these terms and payment of the applicable price, we assign to you all our right, title and interest in the generated output. Any paid download carries a full commercial license — use it in products, courses, marketing, client work or paid content.
• Videos used online stay hosted by Unstill and may appear in our public showcase. You can set any video to unlisted, free and at any time, to keep it out.
• Publicly shared pieces (share links / the community gallery) grant us a licence to host, display, and promote them on the Service.
• Wikimedia Commons references carry their own licences — comply with them when you reuse imagery.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

• generate misleading, defamatory, hateful, or illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights;
• probe, overload, or circumvent the Service's security, rate limits, metering, or file protection;
• resell raw access to the underlying AI models, or scrape the Service.

6. Developer API

• API keys are for your own applications. Keep them server-side; you're liable for usage under your keys.
• Rate limits apply and may change. Sustained abuse may result in key revocation.
• Embedding and viewing your videos is included; generating them is what we charge for.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on generated content.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where practical we'll warn you first. On termination, unexpired share links may be disabled. Files you have already paid for or unlocked remain yours.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email, and continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Governing law: India; courts of New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
